Probiotics Powder Bacillus Coagulans from Trusted China Suppliers and Factory
Basic Information
A lactic acid-forming bacterial species. Gram-positive rod (0.9 by 3.0 to 5.0μm in size), catalase positive, spore-forming, motile, and a facultative anaerobe. Metabolism prefers mesophilic temperature about 40℃, range of temperature is 30–55℃; and it grows in the pH range of 5.5 to 7.0. The spore formed Bacillus spp is more acid tolerant than pathogenic and spoilage microorganisms, good resistant to the high temperature, acidity and bile. Spores of B. coagulans are likely survive at gastric pH and reach the intestine, where sporulation can occur. The animal or human gastric humidity can help the bacteria to transform from spore form to active state of being, and then produce peptidoglycan to coordinate this inactive/active metabolism.
Bacillus coagulans has been studied and used for a long time, even much before antibiotic discovery. It was regarded as the alternative medicine in a period for bacteria treatment. From the summarized study results, the metabolism of the Bacillus coagulans is mainly as:
- ✓ Oxygen Consumption via Aerobic Metabolism: Helps boost other anaerobic bacteria — especially friendly lactic acid bacteria — to grow. As part of its metabolic activity, it also produces organic acids to compete against and inhibit the growth of pathogens.
- ✓ Enzyme Production: Bacillus spp is able to produce multiple types of enzymes such as α-amylase, protease, lipase, cellulase, etc. These enzymes facilitate the working of other enzymes from the host animal or human body.
- ✓ Vitamin B & Natural Antibiotics: Bacillus spp produces sufficient amounts of vitamin B as well as different types of antibodies such as Iturin A, Chitinase, Gramidicin, Polymycin, Nystatin, etc. — working together with natural nutrition supplements.
- ✓ L(+) Lactic Acid Production: Bacillus coagulans produces L(+) Lactic acid.
Due to strong surviving ability and comprehensive metabolic capability, Bacillus spp has been widely used in the enzyme industry, animal nutrition and health, and environmental control. It is a popular ingredient in probiotic products in regions such as America, Ukraine, and Italy. Bacillus coagulans is included in CFDA approved safe strains for human foods in China, and is also approved on the EFSA-QPS list and US-GRAS list.

- Restores Microbial Balance: Promotes growth of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria to regulate intestinal flora, easing IBS, abdominal pain, constipation, and GI inflammation.
- Enhances Digestion: Secretes amylase/protease enzymes for nutrient absorption; generates vitamins, amino acids, and short-chain fatty acids to boost intestinal motility.
- Anti-Inflammatory Action: Releases coagulin, a natural bacteriostatic agent with therapeutic effects on gastrointestinal inflammation.
Strengthens the body's disease resistance by supporting a balanced gut microbiome, a critical factor in immune system function.
Aids muscle recovery post-exercise by optimizing nutrient absorption and reducing inflammation, supporting faster physical rejuvenation.
Helps maintain healthy blood lipid levels and balances blood sugar/insulin responses, promoting cardiovascular and metabolic wellness.
